1. Overview

SyncCell (“we,” “our,” or “the Add-in”) is an Office productivity add-in designed to synchronize and automate data formatting in Microsoft PowerPoint.

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of your presentations, worksheets, and analytical workflows.

2. Local Data Processing Architecture

SyncCell operates strictly within the sandboxed runtime provided by the Microsoft Office JavaScript API (Office.js).

  • No Presentation Ingestion: All slide readings, text selections, table mappings, and cell synchronization tasks are executed locally in client device memory.
  • No Remote Storage of Deck Content: We do not transmit, copy, log, or cache slide contents, slide notes, workpaper data, or proprietary numbers to external servers or third-party cloud databases.
  • No Model Training: Your presentations and files are never collected or utilized to train public, shared, or private machine learning models.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum technical data necessary to deliver web application assets and provide basic technical support:

  • Standard Web Infrastructure Logs: When the add-in task pane loads from synccellapp.com, standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent, browser engine version, timestamp) is processed by our hosting infrastructure solely to establish secure SSL/TLS connections and prevent denial-of-service abuse.
  • Direct Support Communications: If you contact us via email for bug reports or customer support, we retain your email address and message contents solely to resolve your inquiry.

4. Third-Party Sharing and Tracking

We do not sell, rent, license, or monetize your personal information or presentation data under any circumstances. SyncCell contains no third-party tracking pixels, advertising networks, or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs.

5. Data Retention and Security

Because SyncCell does not store your presentation contents, there is no persistent customer presentation data to retain, purge, or expose. All network communication between your Microsoft Office client and our hosting infrastructure is enforced using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and state privacy frameworks such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), you retain rights regarding your personal data. Because we do not store identifying corporate workpapers or account profiles, you can revoke SyncCell’s operational permissions at any time simply by removing the add-in from your Microsoft Office ribbon.
